Friday 29th August - walk **** – Hemley Church down to the Deben – light rain first thing, remaining cloudy.

For the third day running it is breezy and another day missed foiling session but Friday is Maeva day and she is such fun to be with at the moment it is no sacrifice at all! The morning was supposed to be really wet but the main rain moed through further inland and we only got a little light rain! Mag picked Mag up as usaul while I finished my exercises then we had some sticker fun before I packed a picnic and we drove over to Hemley Church for lunch in the van which Maeva loves:) We then set off for a walk, down past the horse paddock and down to the River Deben, I did have Maeva on my shoulders for a bit but she walked most of the way. We ended up sitting on the upturned rowing boat as cormarants fly past and with the tide high mullet were splashing about, just lovely:) The back to the van, once again Maeva got a little help as she was getting tired! Maeva was not so keen on seeing the horses this time as they were much closer this time! On the way home we stopped at the little park for ago on the swings before heading back to Felixstowe as Maeva quickly drops off to sleep, another top Friday:)
